Bexx has an enhanced DBS, is paediatric first aid qualified, fully insured and has undergone safeguarding training and is a qualified Cheerleading coach with BGU.
Head Coach Bexx has over 10 years experience in cheerleading and 8 years in coaching Cheer. she first found her love for cheerleading when she became one of Brighton and Hove Albion's Gullys Girls where she went on to become the captain and running the squad. Bexx continued to cheer for BHAFC when she went to Uni in Chichester, where she also joined the uni squad Chichester Cheetahs. This is where Bexx discovered competitive cheerleading and with the squad competed in BCA competitions in Telford and Eastbourne at level 2/3. She also won a trophy with her level 3 stunt group.
Spirit Elite began in May 2015, when head coach Bexx felt that there wasn’t a competitive cheerleading squad on offer for the children in Uckfield. Starting with just 3 squads Spirit Elite now has 17 squads classes are all held at our new premises click on the timetable tab to find out when they run. Recreational teams train Tuesdays and Competition Team train throughout the week. We train on a 5 panel sprung floor with specialised equipment.
Bexx has loved setting up the only competitive cheer squad in this area and has enjoyed sharing her passion for cheerleading. Still today her main aim is teach new cheerleaders the importance of teamwork and sportsmanship!
She is looking forward to what the future brings for Spirit Elite particularly taking part in the competitions.
Spirit Elite is now in their 6th Year with 17 squads and over 100 athletes with classes for adults too.

All of our teachers are fully enhanced DBS checked, have personal liability insurance, BGU qualified to the required level, safe guarding and first aid qualified. And recently completed a course on infection and prevention, covid-19 and fire risks.
