Newsletter – Spring Term
Hi everyone, Happy Springtime!

Firstly, we entered our first set of ISTD exams, and all students had a 100% pass rate, and all received distinctions the highest scoring for Tap and Modern. So well do to Pip, Amelia, Mia and Maddie we are so proud of you all!
We held a four-day workshop in the Easter workshops and saw lots of new faces and some of our current students. Hannah loved doing the workshops and they did lots of exciting things, such as singing and dancing from the hit film Mary Poppins and making kites, becoming a member of a pop band like little mix, learning songs and dances. And a Harry Potter day, where they made some exciting potions. Finished off with a day of cheerleading with me, where they learnt a fantastic routine containing all the cheer elements in a short space of time!
We have a three-day Summer Workshop coming up Monday 29th July-Wednesday 31st so keep your eyes peeled if you like to do a day or all three!
Our Parties are a huge hit and we’ve been doing princes and princess themed ones, mermaids and pirates and popular chart songs! So, get in contact to let us deal with all the stress that goes into a party!
Lastly, we have new classes on a Thursday morning for all pre-schoolers. Babies Ballet (2-3 years), Pre-Reception Ballet (3-4 years) and a mummy and me class (18 months+) all with new teacher Hannah, so get in contact to book a free trial today!
New teacher Dawn Ward will be covering all Acro and Contemporary Classes as well as the Twinkle Pre-School Class and Hannah will be covering Saturdays Classes whilst I am on maternity leave alongside Amy.
We held our fourth birthday showcase on May 19th and had 100 athletes show their routines from both recreational and competition squad, from our new Twinkle Stars aged 2 up to our Infinity Stars Adult Squad. Also, our three new stunt squads also took to the floor, which was great to see. All 12 squads performed and received medals, and some were awarded trophies. So well done all for another fab showcase and year! Thanks to all coaches to for their on going coaching!
Dawn and Amy have also taking over coaching Rising and Shooting Stars for now due to Ruby leaving us but will be working through improvement charts to work towards badges.
Competition squad have their next competition Saturday 1st and 2nd June in Guildford in BCA, then stunt squad are competing at a new competition in Harlow on Sunday 9th June with Cheer City. Then closing the season by competing in Brighton, with Future Cheer on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th June. So, a huge good luck to them and we will update you all on how they get on.
All info for Uckfield Carnival and Uckfield Big Day Out will be out after May half term!
A huge thank you to all the lovely people who have bought me and baby Boutle presents, so kind of you all. I am now on maternity leave and all admin will be dealt with by Dawn. I promise to come in when he is here. But thank you all for your support and understanding as its hard to leave my classes and business for a short time but suppose I better go and have him. I will be back in September!!
Classes start back on Monday 3rd June and will finish for the Summer on Thursday 18th July. Hope you’ve all had a great half term and see you in class!
